Halloween Fun for the Family

  1. Scream on the Green

    A perfect Halloween night for the family that is easy on the wallet. Scream on the Green is a free event that takes place at Discovery Green in downtown Houston on Saturday, October 30th from 6-10pm. Enjoy strolling around the urban park viewing roaming characters, giant painted skulls by MEXICRANEOS, music, and more! There will be a costume contest for all ages and dogs to participate in and win fun prizes! 

  2. Houstonopoly

    Check out this immersive one-of-a-kind experience! Houstonopoly is a life-sized board game spinoff of a classic favorite, here only for the month of October, Thursdays through Sundays.  Explore the game during the day with the family and collect tons of candy or enjoy adult night at dusk and risk being sent to the graveyard or getting stuck in the haunted circus.

  3. Grosstopia at the Houston Children's Museum

    Slime has taken over the children's museum this October! With daily trick-or-treating and fun-filled weekends, Grosstopia is sure to be a grossly great time. Join the museum on Thursday, October 28th as Radio ONE takes over Free Family Night for a Halloween bash! Last day to enjoy the slime is October 30th, don’t miss out! 

  4. Zoo Boo

    Join the Houston Zoo for its annual Zoo Boo all month long. Zoo Boo is a great way to explore the zoo and enjoy the spooky season. Discover the new Lantern Tunnel between the lions and tigers exhibits, ride the Spooky Train and the Scary-Go-Round. Costumes encouraged for the whole family!

  5. Rooftop Cinema Club

    Located in Uptown, Rooftop Cinema Club is showing classic Halloween themed movies all month long. Movie screenings are outside on the roof with three different seat types to choose from and all your favorite cinema concessions. This is a great way to spend time with your family or have a unique date night. Find showing times for classics like The Exorcist, Hocus Pocus and Halloween Town.

  6. Dewberry Farms

    Located in Brookshire, Dewberry Farms is a perfect day outing for the family and a fall favorite. Dewberry Farms is an exciting adventure with many attractions, like Spooky Hollow, Slide Mountain, and Pumpkin Hollar. Spooky Hollow is a new attraction the year with 7 acres of walking trails offering three levels of spook – friendly, freaky, and frightful. Don’t forget to pick up a pumpkin before you leave!

  1. Houston Arboretum

    Fall Plant Sale
    If you have been looking for ways to spruce up your apartment, be sure to stop by the Houston Arboretum for their Fall Plane Sale happening on October 29 & 30th from 9am – 4pm. The arboretum will be selling a variety of native Texas plants and all proceeds benefit their conservation and education efforts. 

    Halloween Sip & Stroll
    On Saturday, October 30th at 7pm, enjoy a walk along the Arboretum’s softly lit trails and risk encountering creatures of the night! At the end of the trail, you will find outdoor music and mixer with charcuterie, desserts, and Saint Arnold beverages.  

  2. Halloween Bar Crawl

    The 4th Annual Halloween Bar Crawl, hosted by Crawl With Us, takes place on Saturday, October 30th from 4pm – 12am. Get spooky with friends while you ghost through the Midtown bars. Enjoy exclusive drink specials, waived covers, and complimentary drinks with your ticket. Check in at Unicorn Disco and crawl your way through the map.

  3. Doomsday Wrestling

    Who knew wrestling could be so funny! Get ready to enjoy a night of laughs, screams and tons of action! Doomsday Wrestling is coming to Market Square Park on Saturday, October 30th at 7pm for a Halloween special. Doomsday is sure to deliver an unparalleled experience and it is a free event!

  4. Nature Discovery Center

    Located only 10 minutes away from The Belmont, join the Nature Discovery Center on Friday, October 29th at 7pm for creepy nature stories, games, and an evening walk through the park. Snacks and adult beverages will be served as you celebrate Halloween with creatures of the night! 

  5. Numbers Nightclub

    One of the oldest, most classic nightclubs in Houston, join Numbers for a fun-filled Halloween weekend! Starting Friday, October 29th, join the spooktacular fun with traditional costume contests, cash prizes, and plenty of scary surprises. 

  6. Houston Scream Fest

    The largest Halloween event in Houston, Houston Scream Fest is perfect for getting all your Halloween fixes in one! All drinks including adult drinks are free with purchase of tickets.
